I have always understood therapy to be a relational exchange. My hope is that as we partake in a therapeutic relationship, you feel safe enough to share your story. Maya Angeloua said, “There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you”.
_Our stories carry the sorrows and joys of our life,_and in sharing them we can perhaps draw meaning from the suffering we have experienced.
My previous work involved supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, mentoring young adults in a gap year program abroad, and teaching ESL in South Korea. It is through these rich experiences that I developed a love for listening to stories and seeing people experience healing as they were given space to share their “untold stories”.
I received a Master’s in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. My approach to therapy involves various modalities such as CBT, internal family systems theory, spiritually integrated psychotherapy, and existential therapy modalities. Some of my areas of specialty focus on anxiety, grief, and spiritual care.
I’d love to provide an opportunity for you to come as you are, and leave a little more unburdened than when you arrived.

I have always been passionate about helping people heal through holistic health and wellness. This was sparked by my adoration for plants and the healing nature of plant medicine, as a horticulturist.
Understanding the interconnectedness between plants and the human body led to my exploration of different modalities of healing.
I became passionate about learning about the importance of our lymphatic system and I became certified in Brazilian lymphatic drainage.
My treatments are centred around optimizing people’s health and immune function, while enhancing well- being and confidence through holistic body work and sculpting.
In my free time, you will usually find me in the garden, sitting with the plants and sipping on lymphatic supporting herbal teas, doing yoga, or hanging out with friends!
I am excited to meet all of you and help you fall in love with your lymph!

When I was younger, I played competitive lacrosse.
I started to develop injuries at a young age and when I was 12, I had my first massage.
As I got to learn about my own injuries, I then became more interested in the human body!
I graduated from Elmcrest College in 2011 and have been working ever since.
I started out at multi-disciplinary clinics working with Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries and sports related injuries. Eventually within a few months, I decided to take a leap of faith and branch out to do house calls.
It was always a goal of mine to go study Thai massage in Thailand, and I made the goal a reality in less than a year of working.
I have worked with all kinds of clients; from motor vehicle clients, to professional athletes, to people who are just looking for energy and healing !
I believe that the body is best treated as a whole, as it works together. My philosophy is if I can get to the root of the problem, I will be able to help my clients symptoms lessen.
My focuses are Thai Massage, Fascial Stretch Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Active Release Technique, and Cupping
You can book with me online or contact me through the clinic or email me directly - desiree@sagewellnessclinic.ca

I graduated from Fanshawe College in 2019 and gained experience treating a wide range of clients. This led me to discover that I wanted to work in a multidisciplinary setting, focusing on creating treatment plans for clients that would get to the root of the problem. I like to use a variety of techniques, including deep tissue and relaxation massage, trigger point and active release therapy.
In my free time you will find me hanging out with family and friends, going to concerts and festivals, and painting.
